Imagine that the musical palette of prevailing chromatic scales was like all the painters of the world being forced to only use a set of predefined 12 colours produced by one factory! This is no longer the case. Now musicians can have easy access to completely new scale palettes, with notes between octaves divided up to into anything from 8 to 15 notes.

Khammash Scale is the first app ever that explores options of microtonal music completely outside the mathematical grid of the chromatic scale.

You can experiment with 8 new non-chromatic scales (from 8 to 15 note subdivisions), to create natural tunes, ethnic-sounding music or for new emotional impact, by finding which ones sink perfectly into your new melodies or sound compositions.
